What is The ArchAngel?



The ArchAngel is a unique database system that makes it easy to keep total control of your file archives.

  • The ArchAngel is designed to be used by non-technical people and requires no particular computer skills.
     
  • Our specially developed storage routines ensure that files are placed on shelves with maximum efficiency, making the best use of limited and expensive space. As new files are entered, ArchAngel automatically fills any gaps left by the destruction of older files. Users can easily locate the files they require. Requests for files can be faxed or emailed to your archive if appropriate.
     
  • Our reporting system shows users precisely where to place/find files on the storage shelves and a variety of built-in reports allows, for example, users to list files that are ‘in-store’ or ‘out-of-store’, list files by the responsible director or partner, list files due for destruction in a specified period and so on.
     
  • The ArchAngel can be used whether you store files directly or use document boxes. The ArchAngel stores a full ‘audit trail’ of any file’s movements in or out of store, making it possible to identify the last movement of a file that goes missing – and see who was responsible for that movement.
     
  • The ArchAngel permits the use of up to 26 different sites and can be customised to suit your particular requirements. Its flexibility allows for the storage of files or objects of any size.
